Sno-Tek Snow Blower Feature Guide

Choosing a Sno-Tek Snow Blower

What's a Sno-Tek? Sno-Tek is a new line of snow blowers by Ariens.

Ariens' Sno-Tek snow blowers consider the more value-minded consumer. Four models (one single-stage, three two-stage) give you a simple range of quality snow blowers to match your snow blowing needs.

Single and Two Stage

Sno-Tek's single stage snow blower is perfect for small residential driveways and walkways. With a 205cc Briggs and Stratton engine and a 22 inch clearing width, you can easily remove the few inches that fell over night.

Sno-Tek's two stage snow blowers use the largest-in-class 208cc LCT Storm Force engine, built for cold operation. These snow blowers have 6 forward and 2 reverse speeds to let you choose how fast or slow you want to clear snow.

Maximum Traction Polar Trac Tires

The Sno-Tek two stage snow blowers ride on aggressive Polar Trac tires. Depending on the model, the 10x4, 13x4, or 15x5 inch Polar Trac tires keep you attached to the ground for maximum traction.

High Speed Snow Blowing

The two stage Sno-Tek snow blowers use a 12 inch, 3 blade high-speed impeller to discharge snow out of the chute. This freeze-resistant impeller has enough power to throw snow up to 40 feet. Clear snow above and beyond the sides of your driveway.

Sno-Tek clearing widths range from 20-28 inches. Choose a smaller width if storage is a factor, or select one with a wider width to clear snow faster.

Electric Start on All Models

Like all Ariens snow blowers, the Sno-tek line is also equipped with a 120 volt electric start system with recoil back up.

Simply plug into an electrical outlet and push a button. You're ready to blow snow!

All-Steel Chute

The all-steel chutes on Sno-Tek's two stage snow blowers provide maximum protection against debris that may get caught and thrown through the chute.

These steel chutes stand up to chunks of ice and rocks, unlike plastic chutes, that may chip or break.

Interlocking Controls

Interlocking control levers mounted on the dash, allow for one-handed operation. Drive the snow blower with one hand, while using the other to rotate the chute or deflector.

If you have to make a lot of turns, you probably will have to reposition the chute often. These interlocking controls prevent you from making those unneccessary stops to rotate the chute.

Ariens Value at a Sno-Tek Price

Even though Sno-Tek is Ariens' more affordable line of snow blowers, there is no lack in performance or reliability. Some additional features, like hand warmers, headlights, and drift cutters, may not come standard.
