This plow is designed to be mounted to a 2" receiver hitch that is between 10" and 13" above ground level. Unfortunately I didn't know this at the time I ordered it. The standard front mounted Curt receiver hitch on my 4runner is about 17" above the ground
level. This results in the blade tipping to far forward when in the down position. The skid plates I ordered for the blade when mounted in the designed location on the blade, would not hit the ground when the blade was in the lowered position. This results
in the blade digging into the ground when plowing and removing excessive dirt and gravel along with the snow. I would not recommend this plow for a vehicle that has a front receiver hitch higher off the ground than recommended. Otherwise the blade lift and
swing hydraulic system and remote controls performed well on my first plowing of the driveway which is about 2000 ft. long.
