Features for the Husqvarna 42 inch Two Stage Tractor Mount

The Husqvarna 42 inch two stage snow thrower mounts easily on the front of the tractor to produce a snow-clearing machine. It comes with mounting and pulley frame brackets that after initial installation allows the operator to remove the snow thrower without tools.

Two 12 inch diameter serrated input augers pull in snow and discharge it via a high speed impeller. It can be raised and lowered from the tractor seat. The operator can also adjust the discharge chute (180 degree rotation) and control deflector pitch. Wear plate and skid shoes are fully replaceable. Wheel weights and chains recommended.

Fits all 2006 and newer Husqvarna Tex-style tractor frames (LT, YT, & GT). Will not fit old GT rail-type frames. Will not fit 2005 version and prior.

Exact fit for my Craftsman YT3000 lawn tractor, now 10 years old. Didn’t even need the chassis that came with it. My craftsman had been crushedd by a fallen tree and this is the only available replacement. It is higher quality than the original Craftsman snow thrower attachment!

I have not installed and used the Snow Blower as of yet.
Missing parts...
I found a few screws and cotter pins missing and have to get them
to finish assembly.
The unit looks good and I have my fingers crossed.

The snow blower is great. The company screwed me with the $50 lift gate charge. They make you think you need it if you don’t have a loading dock. I Didn’t need the gate I loaded the snow thrower on my pick-up and had to drive it to my house because of the size of the delivery truck. It’s something to think about if you don’t have a pick up truck and live in an area that doesn’t allow commercial vehicle traffic. That was unexpected, I was just fortunate enough to have another way to unload it.

First I want to commend Jacks for the great customer service, talked to them and they were extremely helpful in purchasing the snow blower and selecting chains. The snow blower works great. As is par for most items that had to be put together there were some trying moments, but all in all it went together and performed great.

What an INCREDIBLE addition to my tractor...  I have 850 ft. of driveway, and a large pad at garage.  My old walk-behind would take me nearly 1.5 hours to complete (depending on snowfall).  Most recent storm we received 14 in., aand with the blower attachment to my tractor it made short order of the snow...in about 35 min. The hi-speed impeller literally throws the snow 50-60 ft..

Had so much "fun" did all the neighbors drives too..With tire chains, and wheel weights, I was able to clear path(s) through yard for our dogs too..

Jack's order processing, and shipping was nothing short of expeditious.

Assembly took me about 3h. It's not too difficult, it just takes a while. Get socket wrenches! But the operation of the snowblower is great. Throws the snow surprisingly far. Maybe 30 ft. I have a YTH2654 tractor. I use chains and a 65 lb sand pail in back. Works great. I have a steep 500ft driveway. Blowing uphill is nearly impossible but on even ground or downhill it works great. I need to lift the snowblower off the ground to go back up. The blower is pretty heavy and turning the front wheels is hard when the blower is lifted off the ground. Overall I'm very pleased. This attachment cut my time from 2 h with a 22" snowblower down to 30 min.

Assembly directions are quite good, but should be followed closely as there will be many extra parts - depending on your tractor configuration.  
Finally used this on a light - 6" snowfall - performed very well.  Only issue is the chute positioning mechanism (spiral rod) became disengaged and would not function any more - had to 'jury rig' a fix.  This could use some different engineering.  Other than that, very happy with the unit.  Seems quite heavy duty enough for what I will need, but will have to wait for a heavier snowfall to see if that holds true. bks
