The shopping experience...6 out 5 stars.
E.g, I had to call back to coordinate the semi-truck (I paid for lift gate delivery to the end of my driveway). Your person handled my request, no problem, got me the tracking #. I called the freight co. Wow, what a great experience (and I deal with freight
companies all the time in my job...and most have issues). Theses guys actually held the order at their location for no extra, so I could be home on my day of choice.
They told me sometime between 12 noon, and 1 PM. They showed up in a brand new truck with a brand new lift gate at 12:05. The driver was smart, experienced, and helpful. Although his responsibility ended when it was on the ground, he helped me skid it
up the driveways and into my garage. The packaging had some nicks, so he insisted that I cut it open and examine. Everything was perfect. The packaging was amazing (wood base etc). Partly, I think he wanted to admire the snow blower:)
The snow blower was not all disassembled...only slightly so it would fit in box. Took me about 15 minutes to put it together (chute and handle bars). Super ez and great instructions. Engine even had oil in it. I put in gas and it started first pull.
A little smell as the new paint burned off the muffler...to be expected.
The engine simply purred...even though it is about 9 HP, its quiet, like a golf cart. The engine exhaust does not stink like on my old 8 HP John Deere and 4 HP Toro...I sold both...this one will do the job of both.
I have it out in a shed. I have started it a few times, showing it off. Again, starts first pull.
Are you kidding me...headlights, hand warmers, and power steering! I should have also ordered the moon roof, touch screen dash, and A/C:)
It has not snowed in MN, yet, but I cannot wait. I am in an upscale neighborhood...In fact, the prez of Toro lives 2 blocks away and his son & mine are friends. So everybody around here has red snow blowers...nice ones. I shopped hard, and compared.
At the $1000 price point, this simply is better than Toro (does not have their cheap Briggs and Stratton engine with limited warranty) and the various versions of MTD.
It is also noteworthy that Husqvarna also seems to put clear coat on the paint...and the skid bars are poly or UHMW...all nice features because the city salts our streets.
This is the BMW of snow blowers.
Product relative to the price point: 6 stars.
Service: 6 stars out of 5
I will definitely buy from you again.
I am a national sales manager from a large industrial door company. Our quality, price, and service is amazing...but I think we could take some lessons from you. Doug 952.237.4966
