Features for the Husqvarna 48 inch Snow Blade - Orange

The Husqvarna 48 inch Snow Blade is Husqvarna’s pre-assembled snow blade! One time mounting bracket installation is all it takes to set your blade up and have it ready to go for the next time you need to plow snow. You will not have to fuss with using tools to install and remove the blade after you initially install the brackets. 

The 48” blade angles left or right up to 30° to make sure that you are getting all of the snow out of your path. You can control the angle of the blade right from your seat with the adjustment rod! The skid shoes on this blade are both adjustable and replaceable, leading to a quick fix if they get worn out or damaged. The hardware on this blade is made of yellow dichromate, so you won’t have to worry about it getting rusted! 

Fits all 2008 and newer Husqvarna Tractors (tractor-style riding mowers).

Mounted on my Ariens Tractor perfectly and works better than I imagined that it would! We have gotten two storms since I put it on, one 4 inches of heavy wet snow and one 6 inches of the same type concrete snow and it plowed them both with ease! I used tire chains and two rear weights and works very well.

Hi, thanks for the 48 in. Husqvarna snow plow. Your Price was about $200.00 less than anyware else. I am 77 with some physical limitations, however, I found it easy to install with the provided instructions and video on youtube. In the summer, I use it to move piles of grass clippings and of course snow here winter on Cale Cod. It rides well on my Husqvarna Tractor when I Mowe the lawn, as I leave in on all year long. Extremely over all satisfied and I thank you. Dave S.

Order arrived a bit delayed (world wide supply chain issues, obviously), one mounting bracket was bent but I could correct that myself. 

Mounted on our 54" mower with tire chains and without the mower deck, it works as well as can be expected from such a small setup. When stuck or overloaded, the blade's spring mount nicely gives way. On its highest setting, the amount of scraped-off gravel is acceptable, tried to raise it a little further than the design intends but that threw off the spring's operation, tilting the blade way too early.

Easy post-season de-install, unit seems to have come through with minimal wear & tear.

The snow blade showed up in just a few days and was easy to put together. There are how to videos that show you how to assemble it but the written directions were fine. It snowed again a few days after I put it on my mower so I got a chance to use it. It really did a good job removing the snow. I always use our small tractor to scrape my 2 neighbor's driveways and mine, but this blade did a better job than our small tractor. I would recommend anyone who gets a few snows every year to get one of these.

Got this for my Ariens 46" lawn tractor.  I just got to use the blade the other week and it had no problems pushing snow around.  Worked great.  I used rubber chains on my tires which worked equally as well and I didn't even need weights.  The blade was easy to put on.  Control is a little finicky until you get used to it and it gets broken in.  Very happy with my purchase.

Fairly easy to install.  Pushes heavy snow around.  However, it should be easier to move the blade to an angle.  Hard to do.  Pretty good blade for the price and the fact that it is 48" helps clear the driveway pretty fast.

The blade was easy to install.  I've had one before and I know it works great for snow under 4".  If you push wet snow, make sure the weight doesn't stop you quick as you might bend the bracket.

Jim, this blade is mainly designed for snow. I would recommend the < a href="http://www.mowersatjacks.com/Product-Details/HUSQVARNA/588181401">36" Front scoop for moving dirt and rock since it's more durable.

Derick, Husqvarna released the orange-colored version of their tractor snow blade this year, so you would receive the orange branded blade.

Joseph, this tractor mount snow blade is specifically designed for use on Husqvarna lawn & garden tractors only. New Husqvarna tractor models are equipped with 15 inch or 16 inch front tires.
