The Ariens ST28DLE Professional-grade snow blower has the largest engine of the Ariens line-up. The engine is a monstrous 420cc Ariens Polar Force made by Briggs & Stratton. The extra-large 16” auger and 23.5” clearing height makes this beast of a snow blower aggressive enough to blow through snow quickly and throw it up to 50’! Bigger and improved 16” x 4.8” tires virtually eliminate the need for tire chains. Plus, added features such as handwarmers and automatic traction control make it easy, and a little more bearable to work during blizzard conditions.

Engine: Ariens 420cc Polar Force Engine by Briggs and Stratton.
Clearing Width: A broad 28 inch clearing width.
Starting System: Start on one pull or use the 120V electric start option.
Auto Turn Steering: Automatically senses a change in direction to make easier turns and to eliminate the need for triggers or levers.
Auger: 16” steel serrated augers are up to any snowfall challenge.
Gear Casing: The cast iron gear casing comes with a 5 year residential warranty and a 1 year commercial warranty.
Headlights: Equipped with an in-dash halogen headlight.

Very impressed with the rush processing that I requested. Shipped next day after order placed online and delivered a couple days later. Truck driver delivered it into my garage and waited for my inspection of snow blower. Set-up was quite easy with the illustrated instructions.The blower is heavy duty constructed and very powerful. My paved driveway is 125 feet long and it blows thru wet snow with ease.

It took an hour or so to put this machine together when received, and had to wait almost 2 months to use it, but wet snow or powder, this machine is fantastic. It will blow snow as far as you want it to and there is no need to slow down. I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recomend.

So far so good. On-line purchase and lift-gate delivery went well. Looks very rugged. Chute control assembly and adjustment are a little tricky but keep patient. Looking forward to the first big snow.

Do you offer assembly for the Ariens ST28DLE (926038). I saw someone referencing Ariens' "white glove" service. I live in Reisterstown, MD. Thank you.

Answer:

Brian, if you were to purchase and pick up the unit at a local store, like ours in Jarrettsville, MD, usually assembly would be done for you. If you order online for the unit to be shipped to your door, you would be responsible for some minor assembly.

The 2016 ST28DLE PRO THAT I'M LOOKING TO PURCHASE I'M WANTING TO KNOW SINCE YOUR PICTURES ARE NOT CONSISTENT IF THE SHOOT ROTATION IS OPPERATED BY THE HAND CRANK OPTION THAT I'VE SEEN ON OTHER SITES OR IF IT'S CONTROLLED LIKE PREVIOUS YEARS WITH A HANDEL WHICH I DON'T WANT SINCE MY OLD MACHINE has that I FIND THAT DIFFICULT TO OPPERATE.

Answer:

James, the Ariens 926038 ST28DLE Pro uses a handle that moves left and right to rotate the chute. It is not operated by hand crank. Here is a picture of the Quick Turn Chute Control
