Review:

I bought a new Aierns snowblower , in going over everything I thought they forgot to fill the auger gearcase , turns out it was low , the gearcase wasn't full , well , with the help from Jack's Small Engine's , that gearcase is full now and I'm ready for Winter ?? .

Shipping was fast , I had that jug of gearcase oil in no time , they packed it very well too !

Question:

Will Ariens L3 gear lube work in my Murry 24 inch snowblower auger gear box? Murry calls for EP 1

Answer:

James, manufacturers specify certain gear lubricants based on the auger gear case material and construction. If your Murray snowblower owner's manual recommends EP 1, I would follow their recommendations, in case other lubricants have adverse effects.
