The Ariens ST28LE Deluxe two-stage snow blower delivers a 250cc Polar Force Engine by Briggs & Stratton that's built to last. A 120 Volt electric start system grants a start temperature as low as - 20°F. Throw snow up to 50 feet while churning away at the snow with 14 inch augers. Never lose your way in the dark again with the halogen headlight. Clear up to a 28 inch path riding on aggressive Polar Trac tires.

Only used it 3 times. It blows snow excellent but the last storm the round disc that powers the wheels had a big chunk break out of it. I took it to the repair shop and it was covered under warranty. They thought the part must have been defected, other than that it's great.

The manual does not read like it has been reviewed for clarity by someone wholly unfamiliar with the product; the multiple model diferences are not well distinguished; 8.5"x11" paper should be used with clearer, larger drawings.

The output chute horizontal angle limits should be increased beyond 180 degrees, to say 240 degrees.

Engaging & disengaging the axle lock is somewhat cumbersome.

I live in British Columbia, Canada and had the Ariens snowblower shipped to a receiver near the border. It arrived only a couple of days later than predicted, not bad considering that it was around US Thanksgiving. Only the directional shute had to be installed and the handle fastened. The machine worked perfectly right out of the box - add fuel and go! It is very easy to operate and does the job of clearing the driveway very well.

You may have heard about the big storm we had in NE last week that dropped 30" of snow in blizzard conditions. Well, this machine blue it away from our driveways and walkways without much effort, making me the envy of my shoveling neighbors. The highest endorsement I can give a product is to say I would buy it again.  I would. I might even buy a bigger one.

Very fast shipping to NY! Arrived in perfect condition. Jack's staff members were very helpful with the purchase and provided a follow-up call after purchase which was very nice. The Arien ST28LE snow blower works great. Tackles fallen snow with no problem at all. Even the high, dense frozen piles at the end of the driveway, which are often left by town plows, are easily cleared with this model. The distance this model throws the snow is also very good! I am very happy with the purchase!
